This afternoon found Meredith and I, cappuccino's in hand, coming home to Brooklyn from Chelsea after an impromptu viewing of The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I first read the book in my junior year of high school, and can confidently say that in many ways it changed my life. I started crying in the opening credits! Weeping! If you haven't seen it yet, do so. It stays true to the book, while exploring film medium to tell the story in a fresh way.

(One more day of break before it is time to hit the books again).

Maybe it's good to put things in perspective, but sometimes, I think that the only perspective is to really be there. Like Sam said. Because it's okay to feel things. And be who you are about them.
